Belgian international and FC Porto midfielder Steven Defour could be set to a move to Russia with Zenit St. Petersburg looming for a January swoop.
The 25 year-old was on the radar of English Premier League clubs Everton and Norwich City but now it seems he could follow in his countryman's steps by joining Axel Witsel in Russia for Zenit.
Defour joined Porto from his Belgium club side Standard Liege in 2011 for a transfer fee of around 5 million pounds and it is estimated that the Portuguese club will want around 8 million pounds.
The 35 time Belgian capped player has made 7 appearances already for Porto this season including a 90 minute turn out in their loss to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
