Tottenham to Sign Japanese Star Keisuke Honda on a Free

Tottenham Hotspur look set to beat the likes of AC Milan and Liverpool to the signing of CSKA Moscow and Japanese international superstar Keisuke Honda who is available on a free in January.

The 27 year-old free kick specialist looked set to join AC Milan during the summer but he ended up staying in Russia with a small fee deal falling through with Milan opting to sign Kaka instead.

And although Honda has stated that he wants to play for the Italian giants, he may not join them with Honda speaking out during the week.

This is what he had to say," I have a number of options – when the time comes I will make a decision."

"I have now decided I will leave my club at the expiry of the contract, everything else will be decided soon."

Honda would be a great addition to a Spurs squad aiming for the Champions League with the attacking midfielder able to play in a wide range of positions.
