Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be monitoring Athletic Club Bilbao striker Ibai Gomez with a possible pre-contract agreement come January.
The 23 year old is available on a free transfer with his contract going to expire in June of next year.
He would represent a solid purchase if Spurs are able to purchase him and it would take them another step closer to finding the perfect squad to take them to the top four in the English Premier League.
Gomez has made 5 appearances so far this season in La Liga for the Basque side with 2 goals and 1 assist from one start.
