Everton Target Japan Star Keisuke Honda

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen on a move for CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Keisuke Honda who has been at the Confederations Cup over the past few days.

The Japanese international star has a contract which is set to run out in January of next year and now CSKA Moscow want to sell before he is available on a free transfer.

New manager Roberto Martinez wants Honda to replace the outgoing Maraoune Felliani who is expected to leave for Arsenal in the coming weeks.

The 27 year old has also been linked to a move with AC Milan as a replacement for either Robinho or Kevin-Prince Boateng who has been rumoured to be joining AS Monaco.

Honda scored 11 goals and made 7 assists in all competitions this season including a penalty against Italy in their recent loss at the Confederations Cup.
