Parma Striker Ishak Belfodil Wants Inter Milan Move

FC Parma striker Ishak Belfodil has revealed that he wants to make a move to fellow Serie A club Inter Milan and talks have began between the two parties.

The 21-year old has confessed his desire to move to Inter but the Milanese side have warmed to idea of signing the French-youth international.

They are in negotiations for a swap deal which would see either one or both of Antonio Cassano and Matias Silvestre going in the other direction.

“I think there are still negotiations going on, so we’ll see if this matter is finalised. It’s clear that if we do sign Belfodil, it’s because we think he’s a strong player,” said Moratti.

“Will Cassano go to Parma? We’ll see, we are completing this matter. Silvestre could also be involved, yes. It would help him to play consistently, but I don’t want to be drawn on the matter until it has been finalised.”

Belfodil also spoke to fcinternews.it, saying this: “Right now I’m on holiday in Dubai and in a couple of days I’ll be back in Italy.

“I told my agent to call only when there is something real and true, and I still have not received any communication.

“Parma and Inter are dealing with it, everyone knows that. Inter are a great club and, although they had a poor season, they have a great history. Who would not like to play for them?”

Belfodil who is set to play international football for Algeria scored 8 goals and made 5 assists during the 2012-13 Serie A season.
