Schalke Sign AC Milan Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng

German Bundesliga side Schalke have made the somewhat surprising acquisition of AC Milan attacking midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The German side like Milan have had to wait until after they have guaranteed Champions League football to make last minute signings with Prince Boateng coming to the club on a three-year deal.

The 26 year-old has decided to move back to his birth country after spending four years in Italy and will join for an estimated fee of around 10-12 million euros.

It is believed that Boateng has already passed his medical and also completed check-ups at the club. Milan meanwhile will be looking to conclude a deal for either Kaka or Keisuke Honda who is already due to join the club in January anyway.

Schalke were recently drawn against Chelsea, FC Basel and also Romanian club Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League group stage with hopes of making it to the knockout stage being reasonably high.
