Chelsea Watching Benfica Striker Lazar Markovic

Chelsea FC coach Jose Mourinho is closely monitoring Serbian international and Benfica forward Lazar Markovic.

The Portuguese tactician is interested in bringing in some youthful attacking signings to help the club for the future presumably with the club already well stocked on forwards and attacking midfielders.

Victor Moses and Romelu Lukaku made last minute loan moves after Samuel Eto'o and Willian joined from Anzhi.

Lazar Markovic, 21, made the move to Benfica from Partizan Belgrade just in the latest transfer window which means if Chelsea want him come January or at the end of this season, they will have to spend big.

It is believed that Branislav Ivanovic is key to the possible move as he could be able to help convince his young national compatriot to move to London.
