It is believed that the Spurs have made a £8m bid for the Denmark international but Ajax don't want to even consider a bid as low as this and they have instead got a £15m price on their number one player.
But if the English club are able to up their bid, it is reported that the two parties could negotiate a deal in between the two figures instead.
This is because Eriksen only has one year remaining on his contract and could leave for free if forced to stay at the club for the next season so Ajax have to consider every option.
Meanwhile in other transfer news, Tottenham are closing in on the signatures of Roma's Erik Lamela and also Romanian defender Vlad Chiriches where as Gareth Bale is closing on a move out of the club to Real Madrid.
