The Italian side are rebuilding their side after a poor ninth place finish last season and now it looks as though they could be about to make a move for the former Ajax star.
The 25 year-old who joined the Parisian club in last summer's transfer window has failed to cement a place at right-back with Christophe Jallet being preferred in that role more often than not.
Van der Wiel told French source Le Equipe this in relation to the Inter interest : "I have no reason at this time to move away from Paris Saint-Germain." He did remain open to offers however, "But it is also true in football that anything is possible.
Van der Wiel made 17 starts in Ligue one this season for Paris Saint-Germain after making a 6 million euro switch to club at the start of September 2012.
