AC Milan and Liverpool do Battle for Mamadou Sakho

AC Milan and Liverpool are going head to head to fight for Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho who handed in a transfer request last week.

The 23 year-old has made appearances for the French national team and his still plans are to be their next year but to do so he wants to leave for regular playing time.

Liverpool have already made an offer of around 9.5 million euros with the futures of Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger in doubt with the duo linked with Napoli and Barcelona respectively.

Milan are also in the hunt but they are proposing a different sought of move for the central defender. They're planning to take the Frenchman on loan initially with a permanent move included if they desire.

The Parisian side are tempted by both of these offers and could be prepared to let their former captain go if all parties are happy with any possible deal between these three sides.
