Tottenham Turn to CSKA Midfielder Alan Dzagoev

Tottenham Hotspur are turning some of their attention towards Russian star and also CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Alan Dzagoev as a replacement for Gareth Bale.

The team from White Hart Lane are extremely frustrated in missing out on Anzhi star Willian who has left for Chelsea even after undertaking a medical at Spurs.

Now with Erik Lamela to sign for them in the coming days, perhaps hours even, they are turning their attention towards Alan Dzagoev as the other part replacement for Gareth Bale.

As well as the 28 time Russian international, Tottenham are also observing Lamela's teammate Miralem Pjanic and also Zenit forward Hulk who has played some of football under AVB during his time at Porto.

Dzagoev, 23, has been used in a much more central midfield role this season rather than the more attacking wing or secondary striker role which he played in for the most part of last season.
