Arsenal have made bids for Schalke right back Atsudo Uchida, Newcastle play-maker Yohan Cabaye and also have made an inquiry regarding the availability of 20 year-old Paul Pogba.
It is believed that the Gunners have made a bid of around 6 million pounds for the Japanese international who has become an integral part of the team over the past few years since leaving the Kashima Antlers for Germany.
Wenger's chargers have also made a 10 million pound bid for Newcastle and French international Yohan Cabaye but the Toon have expressed their disgust in the bid, labeling it "disrespectful" and also under their valuation of 20 million pounds.
Cabaye seems more likely to either stay at the Magpies leave to his native country with Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain hovering over the 27 year-old.
An alternative to Cabaye which has also been talked about is Juventus star and former Manchester United player Paul Pogba who would be a welcome addition.
