AS Roma to Sign Chelsea Striker Demba Ba

AS Roma are looking towards Senagal international and Chelsea striker Demba Ba as they search for their replacement for Pablo Osvaldo who left for Southampton earlier this week.

Roma have been finally able to let Osvaldo go with Southampton purchasing the troubled forward who did not blend in with the team despite a good goal scoring record.

Now with the likes of Marco Borriello rumoured to be heading to England and Erik Lamela who is close to making a  35 million euro move to Tottenham, Roma need names to come in urgently.

So far names such as Abel Hernandez and also Alberto Gilardino have been proposed but now Demba Ba could be on his way to the Italian capital with an alleged agreement between the two clubs in place already.

Ba only recently joined Chelsea in January of this year with 14 appearances to his name and also 2 goals scored as well.
